The Lust List: New Look

Saving for a wedding means less shopping. It means a lot more internet browsing! I was on the New Look website for a good hour today, adding all sorts to my basket and pretending like I could afford to buy them. Here are the pieces that made it in to my fantasy basket.

This skirt is right up my street. I love the stripes, the waist tie, and the cross over detail of the front.

I really like these sandals. The blue colour would pop against a tan and chances are I couldn't get them on my tiny, fat feet but that doesn't mean I wouldn't try and squeeze my piggies in! Beachy!

I have seen these frill dresses all over the place and I love the denim version that New Look has to offer. My shoulders are a part of my body that I quite like and I think this dress is just so cute and comfy. I would probably look about 12 wearing this but actually I don't even care!

Can you tell I am feeling the blues this season? This sweatshirt is adorable and exactly the type of thing I wear daily on the school run.

More blue! I am obsessed with the colour way of this Missoni-inspired vest top. I'm not sure I could ever actually wear this; would my mum-tum be hanging out or could my 5'2 frame get away with it skimming my ruined belly button?

I purchased a pair of black dungarees a few months ago; half expecting never to wear them. I have actually worn them to death and would love a light wash pair for the warmer months. These are perfect!

I'm blue, da ba de da ba dai... This playsuit is heavenly. This is basically me in a garment. Long sleeves, shown off shoulders, stripes, waist defining. I really think I may have to pick this one up soon!

Oh I love this swimsuit. The colour is gorgeous, and is one that really suits my skin tone. I am not one for bikini's these days but I love that this swimsuit has the cute little cut out on the front, aswell as a low back. It doesn't feel quite as mumsy as most suits do and means I can still flash a bit of flesh; just the smooth, stretch mark free bits!

Overall I am pretty impressed with New Look at the mo. Now if only my fairy godmother could sneak a wee gift card underneath my pillow tonight...A girl can dream.

Girl's Winter Wardrobe Wishlist!

If any of you have spent any time at all watching my YouTube Channel, you will know I adore children's clothing. My daughter Bryony really does have enough clothing for this winter...but that doesn't stop me window shopping! Here I have picked out my top pieces for Toddler girls from Zara and Gap from their Winter 2015 collections.

Zara

  1. These dungarees look so comfortable! I love the knot detail and they would go with any of Bryony's tops. Perfect for a morning at playgroup or a lazy day at home.
  2. I adore this green top, and infact I would love one in a grown up size! The colour is gorgeous and I love the lace panel too.
  3. I found this sweatshirt in the boys section, but I just fell in love with the colours. In my opinion it's very unisex and I love the idea of clothing being suitable for boys and girls.
  4. This duck top has been on my mind for many weeks! I think its so cute and perfect for a trip out to feed the ducks. I really ought to order this before it is gone forever!
  5. You can't beat a lovely floral dress and this one is perfect for Autumn with its burgundy and mustard colour way.
  6. A little girl can never have too many cardigans. No matter how many Bryony has, I always feel she needs more! This navy one would be the perfect addition to her cardigan collection; if you prefer brighter colours they do the same style cardigan in a variety of colours. The grey is lovely!

Gap

  1. These apple tights are just so cute! Bryony has an old season Little Bird dress which would go perfectly with these tights... Look Book, anyone?
  2. I adore this hat, especially the pom pom on top! The 'Smile' slogan is so childlike and fun. I'm loving Gap's use of rainbow colours this season...
  3. Which leads us on to this roll neck top! This would go with so many of Bryony's clothes... underneath a denim pinafore, dungarees, with jeans! Very tempted to order this ASAP!
  4. To be honest Bryony really doesn't need any more Christmassy pyjamas... but if she did, these would go straight in my basket! I just love how they have incorporated the rainbow with a cute wintery fairisle print.

You might have noticed this post is missing my absolute favourite range for kids clothing...*cough* Little Bird *cough*... Not to worry. I have picked up far too much of the Winter collection and a blog post showing my finds will be up very soon!

My Spring/Summer 2015 top picks for my Baby Girl

As I'm sure you all know by now, I am a sucker for baby and kids clothes. The problem intensified a year ago when I had my first baby girl and ever since I have been well and truly addicted! (Check out my baby style tag on YouTube for more baby clothes goodness!)

As I recently posted a spring/summer clothing 'wishlist' for myself I thought it would be fun to do the same for the items I have spotted around and about in stores recently for my baby daughter.

I'm on a ban from shopping as finances are super tight this month so this online window shopping exercise is the next best option to get my spending fix!

Marks and Spencer have brought out some gorgeous baby girl outfits this season and there are several that I love. My favourite is probably this one -

The shorts are very Liberty-esque and I adore the greyish blue cardigan. Such a beautiful outfit that can be mixed and matched or worn together for effortless baby style!

Another that I love is this little set:

Can you tell I have a thing for bloomers on baby girls? The print of this set is just stunning and I would totally let Bryony wear this on a picnic in the spring or you could even use the two pieces separately with plain white vests or leggings to tone it down a little. Just gorgeous!

H&M is a store that I usually like however I am quite disappointed with this season so far. I had a little look online and one piece did catch me eye. This white broderie anglais blouse is really sweet and would look lovely with a pair of jeans in the spring or denim shorts in the summertime.

I definitely won't be ordering this off the H&M website as the standard with delivery is shockingly bad. If I see it in store I may be tempted to pick it up!

Next up is Next. See what I did there? I am rarely disappointed with the choice of kids clothes when I walk in to a Next store; they always have a good few things that catch my eye and this season's offering is no exception. There is lots of rainbows featured which I adore (ranbow leggings will be making their way to Bryony's wardrobe soon and we already have a couple of long sleeve tops from this collection). This outfit in particular is just adorable!

Another happy addition to the range for me is all of the dinosaurs featured in the girls range this spring. It makes me happy because it's scratching at the surface of those gender barriers that children shouldn't have to face. Who says girls can't wear dinosaur shoes and what's to say boys can't wear pink! Love it.

Is there anything you have your eye on for your baby girl or boy this season?
